George Burliss, co-owner of Skips Restaurant in Chelmsford, recently took the Club down memory lane. He told the story of the history of the restaurant. It was originally a diner and changed to a restaurant in 1947. It got its name by the way a young boy was dressed andsomeone told the owner at the time (George's father) that the way the boy was dressed he looked just like a skipper. And the rest is history
The Merrimack Valley Rotary meets there every Wednesday at 7:15 AM.
